“My Name is Nobody” Feature Film Screening
On Sunday, 14 September 2014 Little Books Little Films will host a private screening of their latest film in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Jeremiah Stroup has been a part of the production since the beginning. He was contacted by the production team when pre-production began and he served as a “behind the scenes” reporter at one of their very first casting calls in Hollywood, California.
“I was excited to be part of this production,” shared Jeremiah when asked about the film, “after reading the book I was truly moved. Whether it was fact, fiction or beautiful mix of events the emotions I felt while reading it were certainly very real.”
“My Name is Nobody” is based on the book of the same title written by the films director Phillip Penza with much of the content based on events from his real life. This is the story of a boy becoming a man in 1970’s New York. His struggles with racial prejudice, true love and loss amidst a backdrop of turbulent times and circumstances.
Jeremiah provided video updates during the early stages of the films creation with updates from across the nation including Arizona, California, Nevada, Canada, and Oregon.
The red carpet private screening will be a benefit event for N.A.U., Flagstaff Medical Center, and Flagstaff Unified School District and take place at Ardrey Auditorium at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. Featuring a live music performance by Cory Anderson and other special guests with appearances by cast and crew of the film.
