Starry Night Gala gets Totally Rad

Jeremiah Stroup Supports ARFC Gala for the 3rd Year

TV and Event host Jeremiah Stroup is back on the red carpet in Portland Oregon at the Starry Night Gala for ARCF for the third year in a row. Jeremiah is a well respected social entrepreneur and media personality based in Portland, Oregon those he has apeared at events from coast to coast. . He got his start at the age of 16 as a Teen Reporter for ABC Affiliate  KATU Channel 2 producing dozens of segments for their long running Morning Show AM Northwest. Since then Jeremiah has worked as the co-host and announcer for the High Five Challenge TV Game show and appeared on numerous Broadcast and Digital productions locally and nationally. Last year he stepped in for E! New Host and Today Show Correspondent Jason Kennedy where he not only report from the red carpet but also emceed the entire night. If that wasn’t excitement enough Amy Roloff took ill moments before the event kicked off last year at the Left Bank Annex and was rushed to the E.R. She later recovered and returned to wrap up the special evening but needless to say Jeremiah proved he was a man of many hats last year reading both his script and Amy’s notes during the event. This year you will find him back on the red carpet supporting a great cause with the Amy Roloff Charity Foundation.

There’s year’s 80’s theme made for a “Totally Rad” night of giving and fun. It included a cocktail hour provided by Vault Martini Lounge, a fantastic dinner catered by Cheryl’s on 12th that was wrapped up with Pac Man and Rubix Cube Cakes from Beaverton Bakery for dessert. Live Music from Hit Machine, Photo opportunities, celebrity guests, Live and Silent Auction and was hosted by Steve Dunn from KATU Channel 2 (ABC).

Giving back in a Big Way

Since its creation, ARCF has raised over $1 Million dollars in new giving and in kind donations for local, national and international non-profit organizations and causes. In 2013 ARCF is developing a Character Value Program to offer schools and other organizations locally and eventually nationally called “Little Steps, Big Change.”

 

Jeremiah who sits on the board of the High Five Foundation and donates countless hours each year to causes he believes. “I believe in what Amy Roloff is doing for kids, her passion for service is evident in all she does. I was honored to be a part of her event in years past and hope to help her raise even more money for great causes this year,” shared Jeremiah when asked about this event.
After nearly 20 years in media and marketing Jeremiah Stroup has worked with numerous local companies and national brands infusing his own unique style and energy. Jeremiah recently retired from hosting an Artistic Showcase to support and empower Local Independent Artists and co-hosted the Largest Independent Artists Award show in the world “The RAWards” for Three year in a row in Hollywood California. Now he has focused his attention and adding value my spotlighting unique people and opportunities locally and around the world.
