Since summer 2019 Stride PDX has been hosting community events to reach out to the business owners and emerging entrepreneurs their platform was created to serve. Most recently they took over the iconic Sauce Box in downtown Portland for a mixer centered around the LGBTQ Entrepreneurs of Portland. This well-attended event drew a diverse crowd including Portland’s first openly gay Mayor Sam Adams (now running for a seat on the city council). Jeremiah Stroup caught up with Sam as well as the key stakeholders for the event including key staff from Stride PDX. If you are a business owner looking to get advice or perspective from other owners, or simply want to contribute to your local community you can sign up for free on the stride website and join the conversation today.
Jeremiah covered the event in partnership with Flux Live and Stride PDX
